Your appointments are essential to the members of our staff and our studio. Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. However, we understand that sometimes life happens and appointment adjustments are needed. If you need to cancel, please give us as much notice as possible. This enables us to give your time slot to another client that may be trying to get in.
We send out a courtesy reminder 48 hours in advance to confirm your appointment. We ask that you confirm your appointment through the reminder email. A follow-up text is sent the day before for those of you who did not confirm electronically. However, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time.
Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
No-show appointments will be charged the full amount of the treatment scheduled.
A valid credit card on file is required to book an appointment.
We understand unexpected things happen…red lights, traffic delays, work calls, kids, etc. can sometimes cause us to run behind. If you are running late to your appointment, please give us a call. We will try to accommodate you the best we can. However, we have a 5 minute grace period for appointments. If you are more than 5 minutes late, we may need to reschedule the appointment or we may need to adjust the type of service you receive (i.e., brazilian to bikini, full leg to half leg).
Menstrual Cycle Policy
Yes you can get a Brazilian while on your period and we encourage you to still come in for appointment, if you feel comfortable. We provide wipes and tampons if you need them. We understand not everyone is comfortable getting sugared during that time of the month. If you would prefer not to get sugared during that time, please try to track your cycle and plan your appointments to the best of your ability, as you may still be charged a cancellation fee for same-day cancellations.
We know cycles can be unpredictable and we try to be sensitive to each situation.
All product sales are final. If you purchased a product that is damaged, please bring it back to the studio within 10 days of purchase for a replacement.
Refunds for Services
We stand by our work at OC Sugaring & Skin and do our best to educate our clients on our services. Hair growth cycles vary between all people and not everyone will receive the same results, especially if you have been shaving and are trying sugaring for the first time.
We do not offer refunds for services due to varying hair growth cycles. Please allow at least 2 weeks of growth after shaving and 4 weeks after waxing/sugaring to ensure all of your hair is long enough to be picked up by the sugar paste.
